Precision Ag Specialist (Portage la Prairie)

Location: Portage la Prairie, Manitoba (and surrounding areas) 


As a precision ag specialist, your primary responsibility will be to research, supply, and support precision agriculture products to enhance the productivity of our valued customers. Collaborating with all departments within the dealership, you will play a vital role in identifying solutions that best align with our customers’ operations. This customer-facing role demands exceptional interpersonal skills and will significantly impact the overall customer experience.

This exciting position allows you to cultivate lasting customer relationships while working with cutting-edge technology. The precision ag specialist will be a leader in the company, ready and able to support all departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell and support precision ag technology and support packages.
  • work closely with the sales department and keep them up to date on equipment and technology changes.
  • prepare and present product presentations for delivery to customers, and internal groups. (parts, sales, service)
  • research and prepare accurate quotes for customers and the sales department. (technology upgrades, liquid systems, planter upgrades)
  • install and assist in the installation of advanced precision ag kits.

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or ged.
  • red seal in an industry-specific role is advantageous.
  • proven experience in agriculture dealership operations.
  • proficiency in ms office (outlook, word, excel).
  • excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • excellent customer service skills.
  • sound knowledge of contract terms and pricing.
