AgWest is looking for a Warehouse Person to join our team!
The Warehouse Person plays a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of materials and products within the warehouse. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

In a typical day, you will:

  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips or invoices, and
    store materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Retrieve items from inventory based on pick tickets, assemble orders accurately,
    and package products securely for shipment to customers or other locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile
    discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy and availability.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and arranging
    transportation, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to customers or designated
    destinations.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from safety hazards, including
    proper storage of materials and equipment and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
    safely and efficiently to move materials and products as needed.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or defects, report any issues
    to management, and ensure that all products meet quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to [insert weight] pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
